TWMCC Chairman and Croatian Minister of Culture and Media Discuss Cooperation and Promoting Dialogue in Zagreb

HE Dr Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), met in Zagreb with, HE Nina Obuljen Koržinek, Minister of Culture and Media and Chair of the Committee for Cooperation with Religious Associations in the Republic of Croatia, to explore avenues for closer institutional cooperation.
HE Dr Al Nuaimi praised Croatia’s approach to promoting coexistence and social harmony, noting its balanced management of religious and cultural diversity. He emphasized the contribution of cultural institutions in building platforms for dialogue and understanding, stressing that such efforts form a key pillar for cooperation in advancing tolerance, mutual respect, and societal cohesion.
The meeting explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration in the areas of culture and intercultural dialogue, support initiatives that promote inclusive coexistence, and develop joint programs focused on cultural exchange and dialogue among communities. The discussions also addressed contemporary issues related to identity and citizenship, with a shared emphasis on advancing tolerance and interfaith dialogue.
