- 2026-Jan-16
The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) organised a panel discussion under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Spiritual Life: Restoring Balance between the Human Experience and Emerging Technologies” as part of its participation in the New Delhi World Book Fair 2026.
The seminar highlighted the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence on human patterns of thinking and behavior, and underscored the importance of achieving a balance between technological advancement and spiritual and ethical values, in a way that strengthens human presence and awareness in the digital age.
Speakers discussed the role of artificial intelligence as a tool that supports the human experience rather than replacing it, emphasizing that spiritual traditions help anchor values of compassion, mindfulness, and ethical responsibility in the face of digital-era challenges and increasing information pressure.
The seminar featured a distinguished group of academics and thinkers, including Professor Dr. K. G. Suresh, Ms. Aditi Maheshwari, and Mr. Syed Salman Chishty, who shared intellectual perspectives on how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to serve humanity while preserving inner and spiritual balance.
This seminar comes as part of TWMCC’s ongoing efforts to promote intellectual dialogue and foster a balanced global awareness that brings together technological innovation with human and spiritual values.
