Dar Al-Ifta Honors Dr Mohamed Bechari

At the conclusion of the Second International Symposium of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide in Cairo, held on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, His Eminence Professor Dr. Nazir Mohamed Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt and President of the General Secretariat of Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, honored HE Dr Mohamed Bechari, Secretary-General of The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC), and member of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide.
This recognition honors HE Dr Mohamed Bechari’s scholarly and intellectual leadership in shaping a renewed religious discourse, alongside his sustained commitment to advancing a faith-based narrative grounded in peace, tolerance, and coexistence.
