The World Muslim Communities Council  (TWMCC) expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the court complex in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, resulting in a number of innocent casualties and injuries.

The Council affirmed that targeting institutions of justice and the rule of law is a criminal act that contradicts human values and religious principles, and undermines the foundations of security and societal stability. It also stressed that such terrorist acts will not weaken the determination of nations to confront extremism and violence in all its forms and manifestations.

TWMCC called for strengthening international cooperation to eliminate the sources of terrorism and hate speech, and for intensifying joint efforts to confront extremist ideology that threatens the security, stability, and unity of societies.

The Council extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and to the families of the innocent victims, praying that Allah Almighty bestows His vast mercy upon them and protects Pakistan and its people from all harm and evil.
