TWMCC Participates in 36th International Conference on Prophet’s Biography in Mauritania

HE Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic of Mauritania, opened today, Saturday, at the International Conference Center in Nouakchott, the 36th International Conference on the Biography of the Prophet, which is organised by the Islamic Cultural Gathering in cooperation and partnership with the Muslim World League under the theme “The Role of Scholars, Sheikhs and Religious Leaders in Reforming Relationships and Strengthening Islamic Ties Between Peoples and Nations - Africa as a Model."


The 2-day conference will be held with the participation of representatives from 55 countries worldwide, during which many lectures and presentations will be held, focusing on two main themes: “Islamic Solutions to Conflicts in Light of the Prophet’s Guidance" and Conflicts in Africa: Causes and Solutions.”

 

For his part, HE Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, said that this year’s edition of the Conference was full of its honorable prophetic material, full of its noble presidential patronage, its established scientific standings, and its scientific manifestations on the Biography of the Prophet (PBUH).


Al-Issa pointed out that the Prophet’s Biography illuminated the world with its noble guidance, and shaped human behavior with a scent of high morals, and thus it represented a comprehensive title for all virtues, including the values of moderation in words and deeds, especially tolerance and forgiveness.

 

He thanked HE the President of the Mauritanian Republic for his patronage and generous presence, and his keenness to provide good hospitality to the delegations of scholars of this conference, pointing out that the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography, which is based in Medina, will have a distinguished edition in Mauritania in response to the desire of the President of the Republic, and in our commitment With the celebration of Nouakchott, the capital of Islamic culture.


TWMCC represented by HE Dr. Mohamad Bechari, Secretary-General of TWMCC, participated in the conference, thanking HE Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, President of the Republic of Mauritania, for his keenness to honour the conference and its guests arriving from various continents of the world.
