Dr. Daud Batchelor: I Have Been Helping New Muslims for 5 Years

The World Muslim Communities Council organized a virtual lecture on Friday, April 8, 2022, in the series "Achievers and Contributors", in which Dr. Daud Batchelor, Ambassador for Better Future Australia, Brisbane, said that he has been helping Muslim community since his conversion to Islam 47 years ago, explaining that he is happy to learn from a number of Islamic scholars.



 Batchelor explained that he resides in Australia and has been helping new Muslims for five years, providing support in all aspects of life, which makes him feel happy and peace of mind.


 The Ambassador of the Better Future Australia Company, Brisbane, added that the evidence around us in the universe and scientific theories support the validity of the Islam, which made him to convert to Islam. 


 Dr. Daud Batchelor pointed out that as a biologist and as learning the vision of Islam and the Holy Qur'an regarding biological development, he finds that the Holy Qur'an has a more comprehensive view and contains scientific and spiritual evidence.


 He added that among the stories that were told to him, Adam descended in Sri Lanka while Eve descended in the Hijaz, and then they met on the Mount of Mercy, after great suffering.



 Batchelor said that he was a Christian, loves to meditate and study religions, until a Muslim friend gave him the Noble Qur’an, after which he began to search more in Islam, noting that he married an Indonesian woman, which made him read more in studying the Qur’an under the guidance of his wife’s uncle, and then decided  to become a Muslim.


 Daud explained that the comparison between Islam, science and technology is enough to confirm the validity of Islam scientifically and philosophically, which in turn helped in converting dozens to Islam.


 It is noteworthy that The World Muslim Communities Council is an international non-governmental organization, headquartered in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. It is considered a think tank to rationalize organizations and societies working in Muslim societies, renew their thinking and improve their performance in order to achieve one goal; The integration of Muslim societies in their countries, in a way that their members realize the perfection of citizenship and complete affiliation with the Islamic religion.  The council seeks, through holding dozens of virtual conferences, seminars and activities, to localize the concepts of religious, ethnic and cultural pluralism, in a manner that preserves human dignity and respect for his beliefs, and establishes the values ​​of moderation, dialogue, tolerance and belonging to the homelands.
