TWMCC Organises Lecture on "The Blessings of the Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah"

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) organised last Thursday, May 21, 2026, an awareness lecture titled "The Blessings of the Ten Days of Dhul-Hijjah." The lecture was delivered by Sheikh Sadullah Khan, CEO of the Islamic College of Southern Africa, as part of the periodic lecture series broadcasted by TWMCC across its digital platforms.

The lecture highlighted the immense virtues and exceptional status of the best days of the world, particularly the "Day of Arafah," which represents the greatest day of the year—the day on which Allah perfected the religion and completed His favor upon the Islamic nation.

The seminar reviewed the devotional dimensions of this spiritual season as an expiation for sins, noting that fasting on this day expiates the sins of two years. Furthermore, it serves as a season for emancipation from Hellfire and a time for prayers to be answered, reminding attendees of the importance of persistence in supplication and repeating the treasured prophetic invocation: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, without partner."

The seminar focused on guiding Muslim communities toward seising this opportunity, prioritising their deeds, and purifying their hearts to invest every moment in worship.
