  • 2024-Mar-20

The World Muslim Communities Council (TWMCC) held an online Ramadan lecture, titled "Perfection in Building Homelands", presented by Dr Hossam El-Din Halwani, Head of the Center for Human Relations and Security.

During the lecture, Halwani said that security is one of the essential and valuable components of life, emphasising that the fundamental principle for achieving the desired social security lies in adhering to the guidance of Allah Almighty and His Messenger, focusing on construction rather than destruction.

He added that there are thieves of mind, who target our young men and women, pushing them away from their religion, heritage, civilisation, and thoughts.

Furthermore, Halwani stressed that safe community building is based on fruitful cooperation among all its members with love and full respect.

He emphasised that achieving social security for the nation requires active participation and contribution from all citizens in its reform and progress. "Islam advocated for a positive approach in all endeavours that serves and elevates the nation," he said.

Highlighting the Center for Human Relations and Security's role, Halwani said: "Under the principle of benevolence in safeguarding the security of nations, we seek to embody the values and principles we adhere to through cooperation and communal living among the members of our small Muslim community."

TWMCC is an international non-governmental organisation that functions as a think tank. It supports Muslim community organisations and associations by helping them improve their operations, collaborate effectively, and adopt innovative approaches.
